Technical Description
The present invention pertains to a method for synthesizing 3-hydroxyisoindolin-1-thiones utilizing readily available starting materials, N-alkoxy benzothioamide, and substituted or unsubstituted benzaldehyde in the presence of a heterogeneous bimetallic palladium-copper nanoparticle catalyst through C-H activation and annulation.
