Noise-Optimized CTDS Modulator

Technical Description

This invention uses N-path chopping and FIR feedback DAC to enable low-frequency chopping while creating spectral nulls that suppress aliased noise, preserving high SNDR without complex FIR DACs or high-speed chopping that hurts linearity.

Problems Addressed

  • Low-Bandwidth Noise
  • Chopping Aliasing
  • Signal Band Degradation
  • OTA Linearity Loss
  • Complex FIR DACs
  • STF Peaking Issues

Tech Features

  • OTA Chopping Input
  • FIR Feedback DAC
  • N-Path Techniques
  • Spectral Null Creation
  • Low Chopping Frequency

Target Audience

  • Semiconductor Design Houses
  • Audio IC Manufacturers
  • Wireless Chip Developers
  • Medical Device Makers
