Technical Description
The present invention relates to a non-invasive assay and a method for early detection or preliminary screening of ovarian cancer. This method involves a biomarker panel comprising of HOXA9 and HIC1 genes in biological sample from ovarian cancer patients using methylated DNA based multiplex q-PCR assay with increased sensitivity and specificity at an early stage.
