Uterine Waveform Generator

Technical Description

This invention relates to biomedical signal processing and specifically to a system that synthetically generates uterine muscle contraction waveforms for term and preterm conditions. It utilizes fractional Fourier series based modelling embedded in an microcontroller to create realistic and tunable Electro-hysterogram (EHG) signals for diagnostic, training & research applications.
