Technical Description

This invention describes Option 7-2x+ functional split for O-RAN front-haul, distributing CSI-RS processing into O-DU base sequence mapping and O-RU orthogonal weight superposition to reduce downlink CSI-RS overhead in massive MIMO FDD systems.
