Technical Description
This invention describes a lift-separation sabot for kinetic energy projectiles that behaves effectively weightless, thereby minimizing sabot–projectile interference during discard. It increases muzzle velocity and discard performance without raising gun chamber pressure, enabling higher-impact APFSDS rounds for main battle tanks.
