Hybrid MIMO-OFDM Communication Systems

Technical Description

This invention proposes a hybrid MIMO method for an OFDM communication system that combines transmit diversity with beamforming to improve coverage, reliability, and multi-user service on shared resources. It is designed for a plurality of TRPs and uses precoded diversity, also supports receiver-side antenna selection and detection using estimated channel information for more robust operation.
