Electrode For Production of Carboxylic Acid

Technical Description

A new electrode material is developed for turning carbon dioxide into useful liquid chemicals using electricity. It is made of tiny iron-based particles trapped inside modified carbon tubes. This structure improves reaction speed, durability, and conductivity. It enables cleaner, low-energy conversion of waste gas into valuable industrial products.

Problems Addressed

  • Low CO₂ conversion efficiency
  • Poor catalyst stability
  • Catalyst degradation
  • Slow reaction kinetics
  • Nanoparticle agglomeration

Tech Features

  • 90% or Higher conversion efficiency
  • 99.99% Pure formic acid
  • Iron metals make It low cost
  • Carbon nanotubes encapsulation
  • Low voltage operation (1.9-2.2V)
  • Controlled nanopore size (2–3 nm)

Target Audience

  • Petrochemical and Process Industries
  • Chemical Manufacturing
  • Renewable Energy and Clean Technology
