Technical Description
The technology discloses a short-term accelerated test method that predicts how long galvanic anodes will keep protecting steel reinforcement in concrete from corrosion. An anode embedded in cementitious mortar is placed under a controlled DC potential in an alkaline electrolyte. A self-regulating cooling system keeps the test conditions stable. The measured output current is then used to rank anodes by quality and expected service life.
