Technical Description
The technology discloses a semi-circular breakwater system with integrated oscillating water columns (OWCs) for coastal protection and wave-energy conversion. Prefabricated reinforced-concrete units are mounted on the seabed, while incoming waves create oscillating airflow inside the OWC chamber. A turbine at the OWC top converts the absorbed wave energy into electricity.
