Antimony-Based Frequency-Doubling Crystals

Technical Description

The technology discloses a new family of noncentrosymmetric layered antimony(V) selenites and tellurites with the formula ASb3X2O12, where A is K, Rb, Cs or Tl and X is Se or Te. Made by high-temperature solid-state synthesis, these hexagonal crystals show second harmonic generation, making them candidates for nonlinear optical applications.
