Technical Description
The technology discloses single-step methods for producing pristine and heteroatom-doped graphene quantum dots (GQDs) for energy-storage electrodes. A catalytic chemical vapour deposition route forms pristine GQDs on stainless steel, while a graphite-oxide route introduces nitrogen, boron or phosphorus through hydrogen annealing. Reported examples demonstrate high purity and lithium-ion and sodium-ion anode performance.
