Mass Spectrometer Control Interface

Technical Description

This invention describes a multi-mode data acquisition and control system for 22-pole RF ion trap coupled with quadrupole mass spectrometers (Q1/Q2), enabling precise ion trapping, scanning, and analysis for gas-phase a stereochemistry studies. FPGA-driven synchronization supports Q1/Q2 scans (non-trap), trap-Q2/both operations, real-time ion yield display, file management, and hardware safety for low-Kelvin ion reactions.
