Technical Description
This invention is a miniaturized Electrolyte–Insulator–Semiconductor Capacitor (EISCAP) biochip is integrated with an on chip enzyme microreactor and counter electrode to measure triglycerides in blood serum potentiometrically within minutes. The system uses a compact PSoC-based readout to quantify triglyceride concentration from 10 µl samples in the clinical range of 50–150 mg/dL.
