Monodispersed Nanoparticle Synthesis Process

Technical Description

This invention introduces a scalable, two-step method combining digestive ripening and seed-hydrothermal growth to manufacture uniform ceramic and semiconductor nanoparticles. By using digestively ripened quantum dots as nuclei, the process eliminates the traditional refluxing stage to enable eco-friendly synthesis.

Problems Addressed

  • Inefficient Refluxing Step
  • Uncontrolled Polydispersity Issues
  • High Production Costs
  • Low Product Yields
  • Tedious Separation Steps
  • Poor Synthesis Repeatability

Tech Features

  • Enhanced Size Uniformity
  • Efficient Seed-Hydrothermal Growth
  • Scalable Manufacturing Process
  • Green Synthesis Method
  • Eliminated Refluxing Step

Target Audience

  • Nanotech-Enabled Manufacturing Industries
