Technical Description

This invention relates to an environmentally friendly, inexpensive, and efficient method for the selective recovery of gold from mines and chemical or electronic wastes. The process utilizes niacin to induce rapid co-precipitation of gold from acidic mixtures, which is subsequently reduced to recover pure gold metal.
