Technical Description

This invention discloses a cryptography-based data security system that leverages Physically Unclonable Functions (PUFs) to secure and license Intellectual Property (IP) cores on FPGA devices. It establishes an independent pay-per-device licensing mechanism without relying on trusted third parties, external hardware, or core vendors.

Problems Addressed

  • Lacks Pay-Per-Device Enforcement
  • Inefficient Secret-Key Vulnerability
  • Expensive License Disclosures
  • Lacks Independent Licensing
  • Inefficient Transaction Overhead
  • Vulnerable Bitstream Protection

Tech Features
