Threaded Multiphase Rheology Apparatus

Technical Description

This invention is an apparatus and method for in‑situ rheological characterization of multi‑phase fluids using a threaded rotor inside a static chamber. The Oppositely angled threaded sections simultaneously mix and shear different phases, enabling accurate estimation of viscosity, elasticity, and consistency under controlled shear.

Problems Addressed

  • Poor Pre Mixing
  • Low Shear Instability
  • Phase Separation
  • Plain Cup Bob
  • Inaccurate Rheology
  • Transfer Stage Losses
