Technical Description

This invention describes a piston crown design with hemispherical mound, asymmetrical cavities, and flow notch for enhanced charge stratification and fuel spray redirection in GDI engines. It creates rich mixture near spark plug while enabling lean overall operation for superior efficiency and low emissions.
