Technical Description
The invention provides a system and method to determine imminent vehicle collisions in real time using a single 3D LIDAR sensor. The system filters point cloud data, corrects distorted obstacle dimensions, tracks trajectories, and generates adaptive warning alerts for both moving and stationary vehicles.
