Technical Description
This invention provides an inflation-aided spin-drying mechanism for vertical-axis washing machines, wherein a bottom-mounted compressor inflates a porous airbag at the start of the drying cycle to distribute hot air and apply uniform pressure against clothing articles. It is a low-cost, motor-coupled airbag system which reduces drying times and eliminates fabric wear entirely, while maximizing appliance efficiency.
