Heat Exchanger and Ventilation Structure

Technical Description

The technology relates to a gyroid-based heat exchanger designed for fluid-to-fluid heat transfer. It uses interconnected three-dimensional unit cells containing two separate flow channels divided by a thin curved partition wall based on a triply periodic minimal surface.

Problems Addressed

  • Poor Performance Under High Thermal Loads
  • Turbulence-based Designs Create Additional Issues
  • Complex And Costly Construction
  • Limited Heat-transfer Area
  • Heavy And Bulky Systems
  • Need For A Compact, Efficient And Manufacturable Design

Tech Features

  • Gyroid TPMS Partition Wall
  • Two Perpendicular Fluid Channels
  • Higher Heat-Transfer Surface Area
  • Compact and Lightweight Build
  • Greater Turbulence and Internal Mixing
  • Stackable Cuboid or Cylindrical Cells

Target Audience

  • Automotive And EV Thermal Management
  • Clean Energy And Power Generation
  • HVAC And Ventilation Equipment Makers
  • Chemical And Petrochemical Processing Plants
